Mayor Lee Kinsella was elected into office on November 4, 2003 and ran unopposed in 2006.

The Mayor is charged with presiding over City Commission meetings and is recognized as the head of City government in ceremonial proceedings as well as civil court proceedings.

Mayor Kinsella moved to Crescent City approximately 24 years ago and has been a continuous resident since that time.  Mayor Kinsella works closely with the City Manager’s office to ensure the operations of City government are in line with the goals and objectives set by the City Commission and Mayor.

Message From the Mayor

"November 2006 will start my second term as Mayor of Crescent City. I think I can speak for the Commission in expressing our appreciation of the support that the citizens of Crescent City and staff at City Hall has shown. Together we have accomplished many great things which will ensure we remain the premier community of south Putnam County.  We  enjoy quite a sizable group of citizens at our regular Commission meetings (second Thursday of every month). It has to be the great cookies and coffee!!!. Joking aside, it is the proactive input from our citizens which has made the City of Crescent City such a great place to live and work. As your Mayor, I welcome and appreciate the input from all of our citizens."
