Marcus M. Collins- City Manager

Marcus Collins has served as the City Manager for the City of Crescent City since April of 2005. He is responsible for administration of the City's  operations to ensure they are in line with the policies and goals set  by the City Commission.

Marcus Collins has two Master's Degrees from Columbia Southern University in Environmental Management and Occupational Safety and Health. He has 26 years of public service experience and also holds numerous licenses and certifications including; Florida A-Wastewater Plant Operator's License, Florida B- Water Plant Operator's License, C- Wastewater Collection Certification, C-Water Distribution Certification, C- Stormwater Certification, a Florida Underground Utility Contractor's License,  three certifications in Natural Gas Utility Management and three certifications in Electric Utility Management.

Message from the City Manager

" I came to Crescent City because of the wonderful natural and historic resources this community has to offer. The "old Florida Charm" that Crescent City has is a precious resource that we must work together to protect. I have truly enjoyed my time here working with a great City Commission and informed citizens. I hope to utilize my experience and training to serve this community by improving the level of service that your City government provides while reducing the cost.

I have an open door policy and am glad to meet with our citizens to discuss their concerns. While you may or may not like what I have to say , I can assure you my frame of reference is focused on "what is honest, ethical, fair and what is right for the City of Crescent City."
